First off, the location is fire. It's close to this dope fishing village where we saw the fishermen auction off their fresh catch every morning. We also peeped the sunset views of the ocean from the sick yoga deck on top...  

The room with a generator outside in immediate proximity to our window. The location was perfect and amazing in the nice quiet area.

The breakfast was delicious, with good choice of goodies. Location: the hotel was right by nearby restaurants and historic sites and the beach and the event venues...

The hotel's blend of old and new gives it a timeless aura. The infinity pool fooled me into thinking I was at a spa resort. The Eco-friendly practices of the CGH Earth group impressed me.

I always stay at a place with helpful staff, like when I got an insect bite. With Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and an outdoor pool, it has everything I need for my romantic escapes. And the amenities like air conditioning and no smoking are just perfect. No regrets!

The database windows in the room provided beautiful light, and the balcony was a nice addition. The air conditioning in the room was effective, and the hotel is eco friendly. The location was quiet and convenient, allowing us to easily walk to most sights. The bed was very comfortable, and the room on the top floor was well equipped and quiet. The breakfast options were varied and healthy.

The hotel felt almost like being at home, with no reason to complain.

The location and ambience of the property were absolutely mind-blowing. The spacious room, with a balcony overlooking the courtyard and pool, was super impressive. The en-suite bathroom was surprisingly as large as my room, which was jaw-dropping. The soothing olive-green color scheme was a pleasure to come back to after a hot day exploring the city. But what really stood out was the incredible warmth and hospitality of the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The staff made Eighth Bastion feel like a home away from home. I would definitely return for another fantastic experience.

Incredible Dining Experience

We were blown away by the dining experience at Eighth Bastion. The executive chef, Mathai Thomas, prepared the most amazing dishes we've ever tasted. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, bursting with flavors that were beyond compare. The presentation was perfect, and the staff were attentive throughout our meal. We even had the pleasure of enjoying a special treat, the Keralan prawn curry, which was an absolute delight. We were truly impressed and left with satisfied taste buds and happy memories. we highly recommend the dining experience at Eighth Bastion.

My Xmas stay at this hotel was not the best experience. The only thing that saved it was the beautiful rooms and the friendly staff. The location is also great as it is near the beach which was perfect for morning walks. Breakfast was also delicious with a variety of options available.

The noise from the street was unbearable and disturbed our sleep. Another downside was the lack of alcohol, even though we were allowed to bring our own, it couldn't be consumed with meals.

The staff at Eighth Bastion were amazing! The room was fantastic and the bed was super comfy. The pool was great and the food at the restaurant was delicious. As vegetarians and vegans, we were pleased with the variety of options available.

Felt very secure, no complaints at all.
